    HT-7 (Spirit Gate - insomnia)

    Location: At the wrist crease, on the radial side of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon, between the ulna and the pisiform bones.

    TCM acupressure: Peace and tranquility.

    Emotional issues, especially those with related sleep or thinking manifestations - insomnia, muddled thinking.

    Physical responses to emotional stimuli - anxiety and palpitations, nausea with panic and fear.
    Irregular heart beat, pounding heart, angina.

    Use with PC-7 for sweat problems (too much or too little).
    SLEEP point. (See video below) 


    Acupressure Points - HT -8  - Heart -- on Hand

    HT-8

    Location: When a loose fist is made where the tip of the little finger rests between the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones.

    TCM acupressure: Incontinence, difficult urination, fungal infections, sore throat, tongue stiffness, pain along the ulnar aspect of the arms.
    Palpitations, fear. Migraine-type headaches
    Emotional disorders - (PC-8 may be better choice).
    Mouth - ulcers, canker sores - (PC-7 or PC-8 may be better).
    Local point for arm pain, elbow pain, or pain in the pinky finger.

    Location: .1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail on the radial side of the little finger.

    TCM acupressure: Eye pain, redness, mouth ulcerations, or mouth sores.
    Emotional disturbances - strong restlessness, anxiety, panic attacks, manic depression, epilepsy.
    Restore consciousness - heart attack, stroke.
